It’s summer in the Philippines, and going to the beach is a hit! Nothing can bring on the tropical island vibe better than lounging on soft sand and embracing the waves in the country’s updated count of 7,641 islands.
And while there are a lot of beaches to choose from, most Metro Manila folks would still opt to cut down the travel time by eyeing available options nearby.
Good thing that in just a couple of hours away, 30 mins. after Tagaytay, we can find Terrazas de Punta Fuego – a pristine white sand beach near Metro Manila; specifically in Nasugbu, Batangas.
Upon entering its main gate, vans and jeepneys were waiting for our team that took us to where an 800-m white sand beach is located. Even during the ride, we already caught a glimpse of the wide stretch of calm blue sea, which spiked our excitement, and instantly became an eye cooler.
Terrazas de Punta Fuego boasts of an 81-hectare area so exploring the whole place had been impossible for us. However, the beach including its recreational amenities was already enough to fill our day.
Because of a pretty scene, (no kidding! It’s like Boracay at first glance) we maximized our day by taking lots of photos.
Lots of activities were also being offered – such as island hopping, snorkeling, kayaking and banana boat riding – all at an additional fee.
We then decided to cool off completely by the infinity pool, which is just as beautiful. The pool had four parts, one main infinity pool, one kiddie, one adult, and one with pocket jacuzzis!
From this pool alone, photo enthusiasts could already come up with hundreds of poses.
The food was served to us in a buffet. Cafe Sol, however, is available on the premises.
We also enjoyed fruit shakes by the beach stalls!
I was only able to come here because of a company outing. So we only had access to the Cabanas fronting the muted blue sea.
However, should you wish to come back, there are available accommodations over at booking websites from Php 10,000 + per night.
Truly, Terrazas de Punta Fuego’s Pristine White Sand beach near Metro Manila is something anyone would wish for on a weekend. Its dreamy sight would definitely complete the experience of a family outing. Should you wish to catch the sunset, this West-facing place would not disappoint. Also, I believe it is ideal for families with kids. So it’s a plus for me.
However, my La Union beach trip still tops my list. Find out why, here!
